Nice win last week for gym team, this week tough match at sec foe Bama where our 36 year coach is 15-88! Hope we win, but have to say does anyone who cares about this program wonder if there has EVER been a coach who has a 14% vs a conf foe for such a long period? And yes the win % over uf, uga and bama are about the same. I hope in her 37th year this coach can provide what imo the team and LSU deserves, the ability to win or at least compete for an sec title.
I have hope for this team being able to beat bama, solid frosh class and the first two meets have produced two very solid scores. Yes, I think we are way overdue for a new coach, but I do root for this team.

What's our records against the gumps in tennis, volleyball, lacrosse and swimming? Jeeze, quit comparing everything against that other school.

Well, they are playing....or flipping...or whatever...against Alabama tonight, so it is relevant

Serious question....didn't LSU and Alabama tie one year? I seem to recall years ago LSU and one of the super powers playing to a draw, which seemed super-odd for a gym meet.

Quick, name every team that has won a Gymnastics NCAA championship. I'll give you a hint: If you name more than 4 teams, you will be wrong.

I have been about 30 meets over the years.
I don't care if we do not win national title
I would settle for an sec 1-2 place finish which
Has happened 3 times in 37 years of same coach
Team and LSU IMO deserve better. Btw was season
Ticket holder for 4 years in late 90's.

Actually, going 15-88 vs. Alabama over 36 years sounds about right and is not "impossibru" That is an average of about 3 meetings per year.

The two teams meet once a year during the regular season, once a year at the SEC meet, and many years meet at least once a year in the NCAA post-season, be it a regional meet or the championship meet...or both. If LSU and Alabama met in an NCAA regional and Alabama finished first and LSU finsihed 2nd, and even though 2nd place was good enough for LSU to advance to the next meet, it would still go down as a "loss" to Alabama since Alabama had a better score.

The gymnastics team has been to the super 6 twice in the last 10 years. This is unacceptable! Fire Les!!!!! I mean Deede.

Gar as far as super six, your right, but did you know only 36 bcs schools even have a team or that only 52 tteams exist? So super six is equal to a top 35 basketball finish or top 15 football. U ok with this as being the highlights of the last 36 years with one coach? Should LSU expect to finish in at least the top half of our own conf? Last 10 of 12 years we have not. The numbers don't lie and for me it is not fair to LSU or the team to not do better at least once in awhile
