I have them for both. Haven't had to make a claim with them, but I know they are very fast with payouts and have excellent customer service.
Depending upon how much your home is valued at, location, amenities, etc. will depend upon your cost. I pay just over $1100 per year for homeowners insurance with USAA. Replacement value is right at $300K, obviously not including the land.
