You simply don't know what you're talking about. MLB had no PED testing at all until 2003. Cycling and track & field, which have had random, out-of-competition testung for years, have always been lightyears ahead of the NFL and MLB when it comes to PED testing. The reason that track & field and cycling sanction so many more of its athletes than MLB and the NFL is because the testing is so much better. Furthermore, cycling routinely bans people who haven't flunked a drug test based on circumstantial evidence, but that would never happen in MLB and the NFL because of their strong players' unions.

I'm a cyclist. I don't give a shite about pro cycling.

They're like a whole other species in how they're built, how they cheat and how they think... so I don't even attempt to form any connection to them in terms of sport.
