How can you possibly say that won't change anytime remotely soon? Recommended specs have already started going from 2 to 4 gigs of RAM, why will that trend suddenly stop?

but this system would be sharing 4gb with the video card
so even if you want to artificially set the ceiling at 4 gb for pc gaming, you still need 6 gb total to account for video ram

About where I figured it would be. They have a price point to meet and have to do their best to work within that budget.

Okay, well let's just say I'm not getting a gaming PC and I understand that gaming PC's are like OT 10's of the gaming world. I understand that I'm the slimy underbelly of the gaming community because I might want a console.

It said it would run everything at 1080P at 60FPS
Where it will be in 3-5 years as games get more advanced who knows.

I also want to know what causes stuff like screen tearing and texture pop in and all those little things that might make things seem not real.
Like, say a grenade goes off inside a building, in a corner. But you are standing outside the building, next to that corner. You see the smoke coming out of the building's walls, but that is impossible. Is that due to sloppy development on the software side or is that just something that they say frick it, we aren't using "memory" or "RAM" or "sheep" or whatever the hell it takes to clean it up.

It's kind of like they took BLOPS2, got rid of some glitches, gave everyone diamond camo and two new maps and said "here, play this for the next ten years".
