I'm right behind SoS with my undying support for this basketball team. And I get really annoyed when "fair weather" fans complain about the team/tired of waiting for the future impatient crap.

I'm OK with the deserved criticisms (indeed I'll make them myself) about individual mistakes etc., but I'm sick and tired of "fans" just piling on negativity all the time.

LSU basketball fans must be the worst ever. They're unable to be consistently encouraging. That's the fans' job, be encouraging, cheer for a team, regardless. Players on a team get built up by that unconditional support. They'll try hard for fans that go out and support them, get loud for them. They're human, and they're also kids.

This team needs that type of support more than some other teams. And here's why;
they know that as a group they're under-sized and of mediocre talent. It's hard to go out and compete when you know those realities, especially in the SEC, but still have to go out and play. There are kids on that team that should never have been recruited by LSU, but there they are.
This group has actually shown toughness to compete despite their disadvantages, but they need our support to keep on going.

Don't underestimate the power of a full arena and loud fans. It's still an entertaining product, even if the entertainment is sometimes provided by the opponents!
