Monti could come out of this ahead if he played his cards right....

The ONLY way he come out of this as a public figure seen in a good light is if he comes out as a gay at the press conference tomorrow. People would instantly forgive him and support him because he is the first openly gay star player ever and he is religious. They would say he had to lie because as a society we make it impossible to be a gay athlete. President Obama would contrgaulate him on coming out. He would be bigger than Tim Tebow. He would be the Jackie Robinson of our era. He would get MILLIONS AND MILLIONS of dollars in endorsement from gay companies and companies wanting to seem gay friendly. Am I wrong here?

Very true plus we all know Tebow will be playing up North very soon.. He will be the first openly gay NFL player.. There was a story about that on HBO or ESPN not long about no openly gay NFL/NBA/MLB players.

Not necessarily gay companies, although their are some gay owned companies with huge bucks, but companies that want to show they are gay friendly and accepting of all people.

That would be part of his story...overcoming the pressure of his religion and the public stigma of being gay. I assure you companies would pay and he would clean up. If you guys lived in a place like California you would understand,
