I have heard that buy keeping a small part of the back of the net out of the water, like 5 inches, it gives the turtles room to breathe and they won't die as fast in the nets.

I've always used the soy blocks for bait. I've also had the most success setting them in dog legs of the river. It may just be a coincidence though.

Thats correct but Im usually pretty deep.
