Why? I see it as no different than any other hobby or form of entertainment.
Plenty of people have hobbies that I find strange and pointless but I am not going to knock them for it.

I think it's weird that grown men hunt for fun.
I think it is weird that grown men bowl.
I think it's weird how much money men will spend trying to hit a ball into a hole from 500 yards away.
But who cares, they are grown men and it is their time and money.
