Meanwhile my SO and I went to see Dallas play St. Louis today.
Great game for the Stars, we won 4-1, but over half the fans were decked out in Blues gear. I see this every time I go to a Stars game--more fans for the opponents than for the home team.
Gagliardi is just biding his time to relocate them. He's signing players for publicity stunts (Jagr) and making stupid trades (Ryder and a draft choice for Cole, who is two years older and showing signs of decline). If you've ever seen the movie Major League you'll recognize the strategy.
