Dam...no confidence in Rettig?? I prefer Jennings too at this point based on his film...however, I am not ready to count out Rettig just yet...everyone transitions to the college level differently..I am waiting to see the battle of the two before I write anyone off

I think Rettig is a great prospect. I just think Miles values the escapability of the QB a whole hell of a lot.
I hope they both do great and I won't care which one wins the job. I just think the smart money should be on Jennings. Less turnover prone, more accurate, and can escape pocket rush better. Those are the 3 things Miles wants in a QB.

Mett was as good a prospect as Rettig with the same skill set. Mett would be KILLING it at a school that doesn't have an anemic offense. Rettig will be Mett 2.0. Great potential, but squandered in our offense and probably becomes a solid pro backup/occasional starter.
