Anyone have one? Is it worth it? What other CC should I look at upgrading to?

What is important to you in a credit card?

Where do you spend the most of your money and what kind of rewards do you want?

I would probably go with Amex Blue Cash Preferred

And then a Citi Forward for restaurants and places that don't take Amex

I think it's worth it for 40,000 point bonus alone....

That's $400 cash reward, or like $520 if you use it for travel...

The points aren't stellar other than that though, 1% on everything, 2% on dining and travel.

Make sure to cancel or get the fee waived after the initial year though.

I have the Chase Ink Cash Business card- almost all the same perks of the sapphire except the 7% dividend, and no annual fee. Right now you only get $200 cash back for applying. The travel rewards aren't quite as good either, so if you want it for that, you might go Sapphire. I just use it for cash back.

I have the Chase Sapphire Preferred card.

2 pts on Dining and Travel, 1 pt everything else.

Got the card in November and have 49,927 pts before the January statement. I will mainly use the rewards to travel. So far I really like the card... great customer service - you always talk to a human being when you call and little to no wait time. The card is metal so its got some weight to it - I get a lot of "woah that is one heavy card? or what is this made of?"

I use the Chase Rewards mall quite often. Bought a laptop for Christmas and got 2 extra points/$. My girlfriend has the same card and buys her makeup online at 8 extra pts/$. We've been trying to maximize our point return with the Rewards mall and it has been working out well so far.

Update: went with the capital one venture card. I upgraded from the platinum and they transferred all my points over to my new card

Does the Chase Sapphire Preferred have a listed credit limit anywhere or is it on an individual basis?
