You can bet the major sells were already running 24/7 and were close to producing near maximum. Now they may be able to edge out another 3-5%, but really the demand is so high it's like a void. No matter how much they make it gets bought instantly.

Im glad none is going to waste

If you want to talk about he government and the problem with the ammo shortage, I will tell you their role and its a huge one. Look at all the ammo its been stockpiling in different agencies like homeland security. Do a google search on the huge numbers of ammo the feds have bought in the last year. What are they stocking up for is what I want to know, and dont say the army, its been there for ever and they have never bought this much.

I think that they're not taking any more current orders mainly because of the back orders they have already. This time last year Ruger had suspended new orders for the same reason. As it is now, it's going to be a few months before the orders from the last month get filled, if not longer. Ammo will still be available, just not as readily as we are used to. As a side effect of the past month, I think there are going to be alot more people stock piling ammo, and I'm pretty sure I'll be one of them.
