You do know that you can choose who to share your music with on Spotify? You don't have to send a blast to all your facebook / spotify friends about how awesome you think some album or band is.

Right, which is why dropbox is useful for stuff like that. How is downloading something more inconvenient than having to deal with a physical flash drive? I don't mean to give you a hard time, but it just seems so backwards to me. You actually have to physically go home, and put songs on a flash drive, then find the person and give it to them. If both of you have spotify, you could actually send them the albums from your phone w/o even going home.

If you just like the act of giving something physical, then that is a whole different thing, and that makes sense.

You're over-thinking this. My life does not revolve around sharing my music. Like I said, not that narcissistic. I go home, on average, daily. It's not like I'm going out of my way to get to my computer.
