The one saving grace here is he has only played one year of football.

I would pass on him. He is not very fluid in his cuts or in the open field and doesn't show tremendous speed. Average size, but does seem very natural catching the ball.

If he is the best we can field at WR, then we will be in trouble down the road. LSU is an elite program and I don't see him being that caliber.

This.

That's crazy thinking. All you have to do is look at the n.f.l. there are more wr's from smaller schools than they are from the big boys. There are more pro bowl talents that weren't 5 star/big time wr's.

t owens, small school. jerry rice, small school, brandon marshal, small school, Colston, small school, Mike wallace ole miss/3 star guy, lance moore small school, vincent jackson small school, Roddy White small school, Jordy nelson kansas st, but a small time recruit, randal cobb, antonio bryant, you can go on and on.

my point, we turn our nose up at the wr's that aren't big time talents coming out of high school. however, there are very good wr's that go to small schools and were not big time recruits. there is no need to turn your nose up at a kid like this. he very well could turn out to be as good or better than your 4 star big time recruit.

Good kid and player. Came on late same could be said about Sydie London. He is at Tulane. Hope the kid excels at La Tech but he is not good enough right now and the help we need at wr we can't waste a spot on a project.
