Backup linebacker.

So New England has a better chance to win now because of a comment from a backup linebacker?

Maybe he's referring to the fact that they throw the ball deep three downs in a row when they're up by 4+ scores...

I'm not outraged, I think its stupid, especially if you're a backup. I honestly will never understand why the hell you would give a team any extra motivation.

Well I don't believe at this level "exta motivation" actually exists so probably why I don't care about this story.

To counter this argument, I put forth the 2007 New England Patriots.

Nothing like game planning to burn a player that talked shite

Not sure what you are referring to, the pats shite talked Eli or something? Regardless, at the NFL level these guys give everything week in week out.

I don't think the pats weren't going to give less than 100% effort before that guy tweeted.
