This car will address the interior issues and some other nits.

That was the main issue with the C6 that people constantly complained about.

The C6 ZR1 is one of my personal favorites and has a special place in my heart because the fastest I've ever gone in a car in my life was in one (170ish mph). I also just love the sound of the LS9 and the raw Americanness about it. No stupid paddle gearbox and a classic pushrod V8.

They seem to have remedied the interior issues by offering two different high end seats and redesigning the interior with more leather. They have more competition from Viper now also since the just stepped up their game with their new SRT.

Also, this Vette has automatic rev-matching on downshifts and has a larger 7th overdrive gear for fuel economy. I'm so happy they didn't put a dual clutch automatic in it!

That's child's play broseph. I drove a blown Z06 182mph on the interstate. Professional driver, closed course

Haha! Of course...

This was at the Zachary Police Training Facility on the track in the back. The long straight is only long enough for that speed. She was still pulling really hard and creeping to the 180 range easily.

I'm still pretty jealous of your drive in that Z06 though...

It takes all the fun out of the full driving experience.

I'm not gonna act like I wouldn't be psyched to drive a Nissan GTR, but I would be more excited to drive something with a good ole stick and 3 pedals. It's more challenging, and thus, more rewarding. It's also more American and makes me feel more self sufficient than having the transmission go "Oh, would you like that I'll-shift-for-you food stamp now? Alright, here ya go."

To my knowledge, Porsche is the only foreign automaker that still puts a stick as standard equipment in their cars. The electronic shift manuals are zero fun. I feel like I can shift faster than them. I absolutely hate the little lag that you feel when it is shifting. My truck has less

Bapple, I did see a brand new black ZR1 at the Best Buy in Metairie Christmas Eve. Coming back from Memphis last week, I also saw one of the first gen ZR1 cars. My step dad used to have one and they were bad

Super jealous man...

Actually my goal sports car to get after graduating is a Cadillac CTSv. People just don't realize how much of a sleeper it is.
