I'm not embarassed to have listened to Nirvana nor do I think they were a bad band nor do I think it hasn't stood the test of time.
I'm embarassed by how much I thought they contributed to the world of music, in general. But I was 18 years old when Nevermind came out and at that time you are pretty much a hollow bone to pop culture.
