Its almost impossible for an actor, making money for studios and producers, to get himself fired these days. Hollywood has no shame.
I think Charlie Sheen had to kill three hookers before he was fired from his TV show and then they just gave him another one.
Downey would have to be completely non mobile not be offered the role.

hell, even Lindsey Lohan is still getting work. Have any of y'all read about how she behaved on the set of The Canyons? That girl is nuts.
