Can't say I'd blame them really. As nice as it would be to see Corwin and company on the screen, it would be a really hard series to translate well to screen. I think the odds would be enormously low that it would be done well.

I could see Lord of Light being done well as a movie though.

They'd have to go the mini-series route, but there is tons of material there to work with. Zelazny was one of the last of his breed. He wrote short, powerful prose. He didn't need 900+ pages per book to build a world.

The difficult part could be incorporating enough back story to understand the twisted family dynamics. frick, I just wanna see Random on screen.

That's a great pick, some of the scenes are almost scripted for a movie.
