Not technically a book, but I would love to see a Pixar version of Calvin and Hobbes directed by Brad Bird.
Never gonna happen though given Watterson's reluctance to license anything C&H related.

That would be cool. Boondocks has done well as a series, but the subject matter is a bit more adult. I think it could work, Baby Blues did pretty well in its limited run.
