why are you looking at going back to the 5xx series? if you are doing a new build, we should use 6xx gtx's or 7xxx radeons.
also, if you get a card better than the original one, it will require a PSU upgrade.

I decided to cut back on the video card and put more in to my SSD. I ended up going with a Samsung MZ-7TD250BW 840 Series Solid State Drive (SSD) 250 GB Sata 2.5-Inch. I can always upgrade the video card. I will only play a few games on my PC and the SSD can help with the performance of what I use my PC for every day. As far as the PCU I am upgrading to a 600w Thermaltake. Net savings was over $100 and I put my money in the parts that I will use the most.
