the benefits of the SSD is that it is lighting fast compared to a standard HDD and lasts longer since it has no moving parts.

the cons are that they are expensive, roughly $0.80 per GB. thats why most people buy a small SSD for the OS and a large HDD for their storage.

if you have no storage needs, just get the SSD. if you have the extra cash, get a 180GB or 240GB model.

If all you do is put the os on the ssd then is there any gaming performance or just boot up and what not?
