You have to have "The Chest" to be a LSU Fan !

I have been critical of Miles and our Offense like most others this year...
But when ESPN and other talking heads say that we will have no chance in 2013, I say To "Hell" with them.
I was a LSU fan when I was born, went to school there , saw every one of Pistols Pete's home games and suffered through the 80' & 90's with our parade of coaches..
You dont want to back a Tiger into a corner, we will fight. claw, destroy and survive..
So screw ESPN, Bama and anyone else that thinks we are done. The LSU Football Coaches, Players and Fans are damn strong and we play four quarters !

These ridiculous Leslisms mean nothing and certainly don't apply to the fan base. People are fans for all kinds of reasons, none of which require much if any effort. If people put money and effort in the program they're rewarded by watching games, celebrating, being entertained etc. I've been a fan since I can remember and I grew up watching the Tigers. I remember sitting in the rain and watching us lose to a bad CSU team as well as walking up late and hearing a Todd Kinchen TD vs Fl St when we were huge dogs.
Being a fan when we're good is no different than being a fan when we're bad. Seeing huge differences in the talent and player personnel coupled with recent overwhelming success, however, has left me unsatisfied with the perceived underperformance of our team related to performance of our head coach. No fan has more or less chest than another, whatever that means. I've watched the games and feel justifiably critical about the shortcommings I perceive. I agree with a lot of what's being said about our program and our HC problems in the national media. The fact that people have different perceptions, expectations, and willingness to forgive moderate to major flaws in the program doesn't make anyone more or less of a fan.
