I am sorry that you disagreed with the principle of it, and I will not do it again.
I made an offer to everyone that if they wanted Beachy or Perez (who I do not view as keepers), then to send me a pick for them.
I basically treated it like one of these pay what you want restaurants. I told Lou to offer me whatever and I would accept it. We did exactly that.
My logic was that I was moved up around 40 spots with this pick even if it was on the tail end of the draft. I was losing nothing. To me, a trade should benefit both sides. I think it achieved that end. Furthermore, now Youkilis will probably be entered back into the draft (who I like a lot more than Perez) and I can maybe attempt to draft him.
If you guys see it as bullshite or whatever, then I think the other 12 owners (not Lou or I) should handle the situation. FWIW, I am fine with what I got in the trade and personally do not see it as collusion, but it is totally up to you.
