My whole point was that, fat women today are for sure fatter than 70's.

Is it even debatable?

Society has made fat people a stigma. The fashion industry has brainwashed people into believing that anorexic bodies are beautiful to exclusion of anyone else. In yesteryear, it was considered healthy to have a little meat on one's bones, both male and female. Rail-thin people were considered sickly (the Barney Fife body, for example), and in need of fattening up.

That being said, there are way too many morbidly obese people these days because of all the fast-food junk food that permeates our society today. I believe that mass advertising bombarding us to eat, eat, eat has contributed to this phenomenon.

The junk has no nourishment... your body keeps telling you to eat because it needs nourishment and you keep giving it crap.

Surly this is what Queen meant with this song?

This is stupid. Never in the history of the planet Earth have dudes ever wanted to bang fat girls. Even back when we were cavemen, the only way we were banging a fat chick is if we were wasted and thought nobody would find out.

The problem is that your two statements basically contradict each other. I do agree that most models are disgustingly thin, but most Americans are disgustingly fat. How would you like your shorter life expectancy, fried or deep fried?

Seriously, though, I think he's talking about the clear historical correlation between big hips and asses as an indicator of reproductive ability. I prefer a tight-bottomed girl, fwiw.
