yes and they are with great intention. But it's gotten to the point where snapper are taking over but the current NMFS will not admit it. They continue to shorten the public's season while letting the commercial guys catch at free will

I don't plan to follow federal regs as long as state waters are different. What's the chances of getting checked before you get back in state waters anyway?

Sure sounds like this is the case and that the commercial fisheries have a more powerful lobbying force than the recreational fisherman.

Isn't a regional thing? By that I mean, aren't LA's coastal waters inundated with them while FL barely has any?
