If Affleck was getting snubbed for acting, I'd agree with you.

I don't think he's getting snubbed. Let's see if he can keep it going or if he is just a flash in the pan when it comes to directing. I think he is great behind the camera and will get his due with two or three more films. He is honing his skills right now, like all great directors. Look how long it took Scorsese to win.

The not getting nominated is strange, but then why nominate someone who is not going to win I guess?


And Tarantino not being nominated is not a big deal for me. While good, Django was pretty much Inglorious Bastards set in slavery period. Great film, but not his best. He'll win one for his body of work eventually, but he needs a fresh approach to win for a specific film. Not knocking him, so don't flame me.
