2013 Early Departure Question

Which of the 2013 early departures actually surprises you?
Half of the Rant is going nuts with people saying our program is in shambles and Miles has lost the teams because there are so many kids delcaring early for the NFL draft.
Before the general consensus was that Mingo, Montgomery, Reid, Faulk and Logan possibly would all be first rounders. Plenty of people thought Simon would be gone because he is so long as a corner and would be a 2nd round pick. Everyone knew that Wing hated school and many speculated all season he would be gone.
That leaves three players:
Ware
Ford
Minter
Minter had one hell of a breakout season and is one of the best MLB in this draft. After the championship and seeing Te'o stuggle, his stock might have even risen some.
Ford and Ware lost their starting jobs to a better RB in Jeremy Hill. They read the writing on the wall and knew they weren't going to see many snaps. Many of you also apparently aren't factoring in how short the career is for an average NFL running back these days. Why not go as soon as possible?
So with all of that being said which departure is actually surprising to anyone?
Loston would have been a surprise.
Mett would have been a surprise.
Copeland would have been a surprise.
But they all came back.

Neither Ware nor Ford suprise me. They are doing the best thing for their career. Not much playing time was going to be coming their way next year.

Be careful - some frustrated high school or college student will probably curse you out for starting this thread. I understand that people who thirst for excellence do that sort of thing - in addition to pursuing excellence in their own lives, of course.

I really am just curious. No one has answered it in any thread. I really would like to know where the big surprise is thats causing people to melt down like our program is headed to the shitter.
