I think he was just giving an "opinion" as to why someone would choose a school. The OP was asking for speculation because none of us know why OM is doing so well this year with recruits.

More than one coach from an SEC school told me it was "impossible" to get him qualified.
He'll maybe have a chance to get into a Juco

Q: Why didn't we get a player from Illinois?
Response: We suck at offense, nothing is changing, we're awful, would you come here, etc.

Yeah. Unfortunately, this time of year people come to this board for answers and 90% of the time there are none; especially on a kid not very interested in LSU.
