I'm not arguing against anything. You guys care about some individual players book shelves more than I do and I'm not going to change anyones mind because there's nothing to argue about here.

I care about the saints achievements as a team. You don't ever hear people comparing their team's mvp counts. I doubt it will ever come up again until hall of fame voting occurs and then never again outside of saints fans of course.

That's all I'm saying, a superbowl trophy means we (the saints, pre emptive defense of "what do you mean we") were the best and won. A mvp means that a particular player had a great season, good for them. It often times goes to guys who dont win the superbowl and at that point, it is just a consolation prize to me.

I'm not saying I don't want drew brees to win an mvp. I just don't really care when he doesn't get it because it doesn't implicate anything to me.
