Cannot understand the love for "Cresent City" for a team name. Sounds amateurish. Leave it New Orleans.

Crescent City sounds no more amateur than Pelicans does. We'll be the best single A baseball team in the NBA.

Crescent city rolls off the tongue much better than New Orleans IMO. For pelicans that is. I wouldn't advocate CC if we were remaining the hornets.
