Is the hellfighter a bourbon aged?

Not a big fan of those no matter who makes them...I loved their Yule shoot Your eye out Ale but when I had the Fra Gee Lay which is a bourbon aged version of the same, it was way too boozy tasting...don't want my beer to taste like liquor

They released a bourbon aged Hellfighter on Monday and it was the hottest thing in town. It definitely has some kick, but it's a beer you probably have to age a bit to let some of the booziness wear off.

I just got back from the Karbach tap takeover at Flying Saucer in Sugar Land.

FBD - Bodacious...merlot aged IPA that i'm still not sure whether I liked it or not
SBD - Pontificator...pretty good smokey dopplebock
