No one faults a Guy for bettering himself. A junior who grades high in the draft should leave.

but we have a bunch of guys who are all too eager to leave even though they dont grade out very well.

A lot of self centered folks and IF

I say IF that is the case......good riddance. Cancers on the team need to be removed.

Time will tell what the real story is

They should be self-centered. They owe nothing to you, me, LSU or anyone but themselves and their families. Sorry dude. That is the way it is. They have every right to be as self-centered as they want.

Your view drips with irony. You calling a player self centered, when at the same time you are upset because some 19 yr old kid wants to go get paid for working and that may cause your precious football team and weekend on the couch to not be as good. You need to STFU.

Chris Faulk is not a cancer. He's an all SEC left tackle and if this rumor is true, it sucks a huge one.

This is the one departure that makes me completely scratch my head.

do you pray every night that it's some kind of player mutiny due to miles being a sub-par coach. you do that, don't you?

When you join a team you are making a commitment to that team.

Owe us the fans.....no

Fellow team mates and coached perhaps

Either way i would rather LSU take the field with players who want to be here.

They did commit and give their all to LSU for the period of time that they were here. They received a semester's worth of tuition for each semester they played. They don't owe anybody anything.

We have some selfish fans.

if you aren't trolling (and i can't tell yet) then yes, of course we want players that want to be here.

but every situation is different. $ may be an issue. depth chart at LSU may be an issue (see RB's) and for some, school is a necessary evil that they can't wait to leave.

So now we tell players how to live their lives?

I think this is more telling about the coaching staff than it is the players.

Our defensive players are on the field nearly twice as much as any other defense in the nation. More opportunities for penalties.

Our offensive players are running an offense one step above the Notre Dame Box introduced by Knute Rockne.

C'mon, man.

I know how teams work

Do you see this happening elsewhere in the SEC WEST. Not exactly.

You can clearly tell what players care about their team and which ones care more about themselves IMO

No of course not

But we can make observations and opinions.

Look what happened last year

CLM had to go to some player homes to get them to stay after 1/9
In retrospect that may have been counter productive to the team .

They're not used to seeing multiple players at a time leaving for the draft appparently. Looks like it's them that need to get with the times.
