I don't claim to understand this industry but i rode the wave up on NM, TNK, TGP, TEU over the past month. But beware, they have troubled past. Not sure when to bail or if I should hang around to collect the dividends.

Why exactly do these companies pay such high dividends? What is their modus operandi?

TOO - 0.51/7.44% - $27.54
NMM - 0.44/12.30% - $14.47
TEU - 0.22/16.03% - $5.47
NM - 0.06/6.35% - $3.74
SB - 0.05/4.83% - $4.12
TNK - 0.02/11.73% - $3.38
