I have never shot a 30-30. I would like to own one one day. What is the typical capacity on it?
FWIW though, when deciding on what caliber and or style rifle to get for deer hunting several years ago, I heard "I will never hunt deer with a 30-30 again" from multiple hunters due to lost deer.

I threw those hornady lever bullets in trash! I lost two does with my 45-70 shot both at 30-40 yards. Blood everywhere but never found both deer "swapped to federal hollow points" then i had the hornady for my 30-30 shot 8 point at 50 yds and ended up trailing that deer for 3 hrs. Found it alive, shot again and it jumped and ran another 70 yards! Neither bullet passed through! Will never use again! Went and bought winchester power point hollows for it!
