If Les had a defensive background

Would people be less critical of him? I think so. The thing that frustrates me about him is that he was an offensive lineman and comes from an offensive background. Despite this there is not one offensive lineman that he recruited in the NFL, and our offensive rankings speak for themselves. I feel like all the elite coaches have some sort of specialty. Say Les had been a defensive lineman in college...even if the offense remained the same would people look at les differently? I think so.

same thing but I'm not sure of this. He wasn't drafted that's for sure. That'll change though with Faulk, Vadal, La'el etc. It just took a while, though.

we have THE best Defensive guy in the nation on our team! You think Les isnt elite? Would you think he was elite if he was involved with NCAA violations, ignoring team standards, or lies about leaving the program? Muschamp looses his cool. Tubberville rips off earphones, Saban rages on the sidelines when 42 to 15.
Just whom is the "elite" coach you would have running LSU?
He is a head coach that happens to know more about O lines. Geez

I don't even know where to begin. I think you missed the point.
