First off, my condolences for having to live in east texas.
I don't think this is Tuberville's MO... it certainly wasn't at Auburn. He had pretty good relationships with the HS coaches in the state... not sure about TTU, but I'd imagine it was similar. This appears to be more about the HS coach than Tuberville, IMO.

I had at least 4 coaches from 4A and 5A schools tell me they would try to steer athletes from coming to Aggieland so long as Fran was coach.
