These types of books are really bubble gum pop fiction in the same vein as harry potter

If you compare these books to Harry Potter again I'll murder all of your relatives in front of you. You'll have to become The Punisher to get back at me

I'd say its much more insulting to compare Harry Potter to Twilight than the Hunger Games. As Stephen King puts it:

Harry Potter was much better than any of the others I listed. The imagination she used to create her universe was excellent. But do you really think it was anything other than light escapist fiction? Rowling never took any great artistic risks with her novels, nor did she express any profound, deep ideas.

For the record, I never read twilight either. That doesn't mean that I don't know what to expect from them if I did. That's what makes these books bubble gum pop fiction as I called them. They are transparent.
