I'm seeing a potential problem. On ESPN, it doesn't let the commish change lineups for previous days. This could be hard to enforce.

So the current day would be treated as a previous day? In other words each team's owner is the only one that can manipulate rosters for that day? I foresee a bunch of lost stats. Looks like having backup plans at each position will be critical.

I can manipulate rosters for the current day, but if an illegal roster was made, and i dont find out until the next day, I can't go modify the roster or the stats to penalize the owner that fricked up.

In the rare occurrence this happens the opponent should have to address it ..if stats can't be modified, the standings can be calculated manually if the lineup modifications results in record change

Fact.
Hopefully all of our owners are involved enough to make this not be an issue. I may suggest that we have some leniency on the rule requiring a player to be in every position on the lineup. ESPN doesn't even give you a warning message like CBS does when you have an empty spot.

Also, everyone should go to the ESPN site, under the lineup page, and click the "keepers" tab and select their guys.

Needs to be you do not need a full lineup. With games starting at sometimes 9pm our time, that's a small window to catch and illegal lineup same day.

Yeah...I think if you may want to leave a spot empty, you need to have the foresight to add a player to fill the slot.
