LSU closes recruiting getting Nkemdiche and Preist Willis. Finishes with the top class.

Goes 10-2 with loses to UGA and A&M. Beats Bama. Wins SEC title, but not national title. Beat Louisville/OkSt in Sugar Bowl.

Oregon beats tOSU for BCS Title.

What are your feelings then? Are we still inferior to bama?

It's a good question. 2 losses with a win over Bama and a Sugar Bowl win. Is it enough for the majority of this fanbase to finally stop blowing Saban for a millisecond?

i'll say Murray lights up a young tiger D early, we lost 31-24 there and Manziel makes a game saving play to beat LSU 24-21. Offense is of the 07 caliber. Defense likely the same.

Miles needs to win the SEC this year or the fans might revolt imo

Beating Bama is fine, but if they still end up making it to and winning the NC, it will suck. We are one of the few teams in college football that can match up to Bama and have a legitimate chance of beating them, but we have somehow come up short the last two times which ended up with Bama winning it all. LSU needs to beat Bama and stop them from going to the NC game. We owe college football that much.

that is the main difference. when they beat us, they parlay it into crystal (or even when they lose to us)

but the years we have beat them, there has always been one hurdle more.

i don't think bama wins the title next year. i potentially see 3 unbeaten non sec teams in oregon, ohio state, and notre dame. could possibly put Louisville in there too.

one slip by bama or any other sec team will be too much.
