A back who can't pass protect doesn't have much of a future in the modern NFL.
Sorry guys. Undrafted.
But I do wish him luck. Maybe he'll latch onto some team as a kick returner.

He never learned to run between the tackles
i think his "package" didn't really allow this

Could have been used so much more if he got a mean streak instead of always avoiding contact.
Jacob Hester's Law: avoiding hits to make more yards is better than looking cool and "trucking" somebody for fewer yards.

LSU will have by far the most players in the nfl after this class.

looking forward to a lot of jeremy hill with a little blue/hilliard sprinkled in there.

I disagree with this. He ran the ball very well at times, and has very strong measurables.
It is not his fault he was in one of the most talented RB corps in the country. Having said that, he still commanded 4-6 touches a game.

is Joe Schad ESPN's LSU correspondent?

How soon? Do special teams count?
I really like the guy, but claiming he'll start is a bit of a stretch.

He will test out of the roof at the combine. Can return kicks like a beast. Can play special teams.mhe may go late or undrafted.

You people need to go back and watch some film of him this year, I did last night.
His pass protection was much improved and he did run up the middle successfully.
People like to post on here that he can't pass block or run between the tackles because of shite that happened two years ago.
That, and the lack of opportunities he's had to prove you motherfrickers wrong, mostly due to having four other stud running backs.
I don't think he's just an outside runner, I think he was the best outside runner LSU had and that's how they used him.

I think there's a reason for that. He had 1 play - outside runs, because he was afraid to run between the tackles.

Or running to the sideline trying to avoid hits and get a big play meanwhile lose a few yards in the process.

not shocking. like with ware, what exactly did anybody expect him to do to improve his stock next year?
I expected him to become one of the best return men next year.

Are you really going to sit there and tell me that Michael Ford can sit back and pass protect? Really?
This should be fun.

Holy shite. Ford too?

plus, miles loves to assign RB roles
hell we did it with shyrone carey back in 2005 even
ford was the "outside" back so that's what he got to do

Good luck to Ford. He'll definitely make a roster whether he is drafted or not.
