2013 Starters now that we pretty much know who is declaring

I am not even considering the 2013 class yet except Leslie since he is a JC guy, but they will add depth and might even have a few starters. Barring signifcant injuries, this is still a 10-2/9-3 type team, could be slightly better or worse. 8-4 to 12-0 is not out of the realm.
Offense: It will be better whether we get a new OC or not. Dominant running game, will Mett and the WR's progress to make this a great offense?
QB: Mettenberger
OT: Faulk and Alexander
OG: Collins and Williford
C: Turner
WR: Beckham,Landry,& Leslie(hopefully qualifies)
RB: Hill
FB: Copeland
TE: Dickson
Defense: Will take a step back, but next year we will building for a great 2014 and 2015 defense with all the young guys playing. Still a very talented group with more experience than most realize. Depth at LB will be ridiculous. All of these guys have had significant time in 2012 except Hunter. The challenge is going to be with depth. That is where the NFL defections will hurt the most. Also, a leader will need to emerge. Don't forget, we have the best Defensive coordinator outside of Saban in the country, so we will never be "bad". This will be a fast defense and the schedule to start the season should give them some time to develop and gel.
DE: Rasco and Hunter
DT: Johnson and Ferguson
LB: Alexander, T.Jones, Barrow
S: Eugene, Martin
CB: Collins, Mills
Specialists: Still a question mark, but we should be at least average here.
P: Keehn
PK: Hairston

Turner won't play center and Eugene didnt take a snap at safety all year

Porter.

There is a strong chance he plays center to get the 5 best OL on the field.
Eugene played a lot, that is what I was referencing, being on the field makes a difference so he won't have a deer in the headlight look.

You think Martin beats out Loston? Never "bad", I agree. There's some highly rated guys in there.

Why do you think Turner will mover over to C instead of staying at RG? Porter did a good job for Lonergan when he was hurt.
S: Eugene, Martin
I would rather see Eugene stay in the Nickel package and see Corey Thompson back there at S.

I am hearing Loston is gone. If back, Loston starts.

T Jones shouldn't me moved inside. White will pass up Collins. I think Loston will come back. He is undecided about the draft but he could really boost his stock starting for a second year, kind of like Minter.

if Loston is gone then it will be Corey Thompson

Wheres Loston? Thought he had his best game in 3 years. Did he declare?

Believe he assumes Loston goes pro.

Barrow at Middle, I typed in random order.

I really think the juco will start on the OL. Turner and Alexander were lost and overmatched the last 3 games

Alexander had a bad game in pass protection against Clemson, he will be great.

Martin starts in Eric Reid's S spot.

I know, I know. I need to put down the liquor, but, we could have a better tandem at safety next yr. Reid made AA based on name/reputation. Loston doesn't impress me at all. Coverage liability that roams around aimlessly lookin for that big sports center hit. Don't give me the miss st int, either. Was thrown right to him with only green in front. Danny McCray was better. Also a coverage liability, but at least, could tackle and play the run very well. Loston is a 3* trapped in a 5* ranking.

I was going to do the same... but let's look at the depth on defense... ALREADY ON the roster
Quentin Thomas, Mickey Johnson at DT
Jordan Allen, Justin Maclin at DE
Linebacker is loaded: Feist, Louis, Muncie, Welter, Granier, Phillips..... COULD PHILLIPS BULK UP AT PLAY DE? AND IS DEION JONE AT SAFETY STILL OUT OF THE QUESTION???
Aren't we expecting Kavarha Holmes working out at CB??? Dwayne Thomas and Derek Raymond are the other 2
Thompson and Sandolph...
I think LSU alredy has enough... but with the freshmen coming in.... I LIKE IT!
no worries.... 2013 will be FUN!
