What are your thoughts on Monty's "leash"? How long does he get?

I was actually a Monty supporter, but he's been rubbing me the wrong way lately. I'd love to see a guy like Patrick Ewing get an opportunity here.

Why would he be placed in a leash? Everyone in the organization understands that the team is young and would struggle especially early in the season. Then Gordon suffered a setback and all expectations went down the pipes.

You may not agree with some of his decisions and the plays he draws up at times, but that's something he'll learn with time and experience with his players and their abilities.

We are 2-3 with Gordon back in the line up, as long as the team continues to grow and improve, I don't see why people continue to be on his case.

He should have gotten the Bobcats job. No way he can be worse than the cheap hire MJ made.

I think he's fine this season. I think he's fine next season. I think things would have to be pretty bad off for him to be ousted before the 2014/2015 season.

During that season, I think results will be expected. If this team isn't `contending' by whatever definition The Empire chooses to apply through the season and going into the next, both DD and MW will we gone, maybe during the season.

This is largely driven by my interpretation of the team's salary picture, the timeline set up by Davis' contract, and the (I think related) length of Monty's contract.

Your thoughts?
