Those last 2 plays were all on Mett. His choice to opt for the pass on second and his choice to audible on third. He saw the loaded box and did not think about running the clock down (not a fact just an assumption). Does anyone see the Irony of not running an option play here?

Every time I read about that 2nd and 2 pass on here it gets shorter and easier. It was a 6 yard pass at the top of this thread, but then two posts later it was already a 4 yard pass. If Mettenberger had just waited for a few more rant posters to weigh in before throwing it would have been a hand off.

I'm starting to understand how some people think the offensive coaching is fine, given that they obviously can't see a damn thing that's happening.

You're probably kidding, but Miles noted after the game that they weren't running the football with Clemson's players outnumbering them at the line (like it was a fact).
