Well if you went 8 bowls without a win then I would say its about as bad as it looks.

How does that make it seem worse than it was? The order of the losses doesn't matter...

He lost 8 in a row. There is no "seem" about it.

Exact same as Tom Osborne. Osborne could have had more wins/titles, but he had a pair of nuts and went for wins instead of ties, etc. Greatest coach of all time.

"The Tide was all white until 1971. They played in an all-white conference and mostly against all-white non-league foes.
