How does Bob Stoops still have a job?

Oklahoma IMO is a top 5-10 job. They could probably get any big name they wanted if the job opened up. The guy hasn't legitimately sniffed a title in almost 8 years now and loses just about EVERY big game they play in.
I really don't understand it. Can you imagine him at LSU?

People seem to overlook that there can only be one national champion every year.
I do think a fresh start at a new school would do wonders for him though.

did you miss the 08 season? his 08 team was freaking loaded and lost a close title game to another great team. Since then his teams haven't been as good thou, I will admit that.

9-5 against Texas and 8 Big 12 titles (7 of those outright). Y'all forget how bad OU was before he got there (in the 90's, not talking all time of course).
