I remember seeing this thread when it was initially posted. I can't imagine it being more depressing.

Get used to it.
Every elite "football factory" school will experience the same thing .
We are a "victim" of tier one recruiting and excellent player development.
The new NFL contract and the possibility of injury ensures it.
Not to mention that the concept of a "college degree" has been completely devalued by the economic reality of the marketplace.
On the bright side, pretty much every freshman will play from this point out and LSU recruits like few others.
Les has been ahead of the curve on this since around 2009 and now we know why.
