Miles has the best record in the history of this school. No coach ever would satisfy you.

I guess Ware leaves because he lost his starting job, but not sure how that helps with his draft stock for this year

Most of those wins are because the defense is always great. The defense is in good hands with Chief and Miles pretty much lets Chief run it.
On the other hand, Miles is very involved with the offense and the offense has been ranked eighty something the last couple of years.
If this defense takes a big step back next year with the loss of some key players and the offense continues at the same level of performance then LSU suddenly becomes a very average team.
Les Miles is responsiple for putting the best product on the field and getting every ounce of production out of the players. He has failed IMO to make LSU a Great team year in and year out becuase LSU depends too heavily on its Defense and is barely average on offense. How many many more losses would LSU have if the defense was not great?
So, maybe saying no coach would satisfy you is true for that guy. For me, I would be happy with a coach who tried with every ounce of his ability to make our offense as good as our defense. Thus, Les should be congratulated on his overall record but acknowledge that he has not done a good job of fielding a balanced team on both sides of the ball.
Hire a coach that is better than you at coaching offense Les. You did it for the defense.
