LINK

Pros:
He is on the court/bench
He might play all the first back to back games
Working on getting back in shape
He is playing limited minutes

Con:
Knee is still experiencing soreness
He will miss at least 8 more games this season (Back to back games won't play)
Out of shape
He is playing limited minutes.

My first POSITIVE EG10 post.

That's expected under any circumstances where you stop doing strenuous activity for a long time and then jump right back into it. The soreness should subside after he gets more and more playing time.

Doesn't say that he's guaranteed to miss all of the back to backs. It just depends on his conditioning as to when he will start being able to play in them.

Decent points otherwise, though.

I agree on most of your points, but I think he will play back-to-backs as soon as his conditioning rises.

That article pretty much reinforces my previous thoughts on the dnp.

I found this interesting.

quote:

Following the recommendation of doctors, Williams said the decision for Gordon to sit out was made in collaboration with Mickey Loomis, the Hornets' Executive Vice President, and General Manager Dell Demps and himself to avoid overworking him. In his home debut Tuesday night, Gordon scored 11 points on a five-of-17 shooting.

I guess they think the Shabus plan will be unpopular and are trying to show that the Saints support it too.
