LSUs defense was not exposed. The offense was(actually it wasn't we already knew it was bad). The LSU defense was dominating Clemson for a while but when the LSU offense keeps going 3 and out and the defense is on the field for near 100 plays failure is the only option. It's like dropping Michael phelps into the middle of the Atlantic and saying "swim home!"
